The activity begins with a demonstration of the HAKA KA MATE, followed by a brief explanation of this traditional dance, focusing on teamwork. Next, the group learns how to perform the HAKA KA MATE, learning the lyrics and choreography. To reinforce team cohesion and encourage a greater sense of unity, participants paint their faces with traditional colors and patterns. The activity ends with a final group demonstration, showing off everything they have learned.
