Domino Effect

Domino Effect is a collaborative team building activity where participants use various objects to build a circuit and create a chain reaction. As teams design and construct their section of the course, they face challenges that allow them to obtain additional items. Teams must coordinate and ensure that the initial movement is transmitted from the first to the last element of the structure.

Dynamics

The group is divided into teams of 5 to 8 participants who take their places in their work areas. Equipped with initial objects and an iPad, they build their section of the circuit and solve interactive challenges and general knowledge quizzes, earning coins for their correct answers. With these coins, teams can purchase additional items to enhance their courses. At the end, it is checked that the circuit works and that the initial movement is transmitted from the first element of the structure to the last, creating a chain reaction.

Objectives

The activity aims to foster creativity and strategic thinking among participants, challenging them to find solutions using the available elements to design the course. It is also designed to promote teamwork and communication, as each group must ensure that the chain reaction is successfully completed and collaborate with other teams to plan how to connect each section of the circuit. Throughout the dynamic, teams face problems that they must solve together to ensure that the chain reaction works correctly from the first to the last piece.
